Troy Moats, O.D.

Dr. Troy Moats moved from Minnesota to join Gaddie Eye Centers in 2006.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Iowa, and was awarded his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Moats enjoys working with all ages of patients - from as young as
6 months of age.  He also works with local physicians in providing eye care for patients dealing with diabetes, high blood pressure, and other healthcare concerns.  Dr. Moats cares for patients with eye diseases ranging from "pink eye" to potentially blinding diseases such as cataracts and glaucoma.

Dr. Moats resides in Louisville with his wife, Dr. Shelley Moats, and their daughter and son.  He enjoys spending time with his wife and children, and when time permits - the occasional video game!
